Hi all,
We are heading off to TUmut and
Cabramurra this weekend. Will I need chains in those areas? Cheers Phil

I worked up in the Snowy for sometime, and lived in
Cabramurra I would say that you would need chains, some roads may be closed, the road should be
well ploughed, but I would advise you carry chains.

Some areas if you are caught without chains, there are fines too.
For the cost of hiring them for 2 days,they could also be needed!!!
Plenty of white stuff around at the moment.
