Ironman suspension or OME?

Gday,

I have an 08 dual cab/cab chass SR hilux and after fitting the bar and winch, im now looking for a suspension lift. Im in two minds with who to go with, Ome seem to have a pretty trusted name, but i cant seem to find anything about ironman, weather its a good or a bad thing.
an ironman installer said he could put spacers in to get me a 3inch lift for $1300 odd bucks, incl greasable shackles ect..
Ome can do me 2 inches for $1750 incl greasable shackles ect..
Big price diff, but is there a big product diff?

I am at present going through a similar exercise with my 76 Series 08 Landcruiser. Although I am looking more for more of a heaver and better quality spring with a better load carrying capacity and better shocks. I am at present considering between Pollyair bags or the Ironman upgrade kit and leaning more towards the Ironman kit. I am in WA and can get the Ironman kit supplied for around $1000.00 and have the gear to fit it myself. I am a retired mechanic and have used Ironman products over the years and have found no problems with their gear. Pretty sure I will go Ironman... Regards,,,Nav.

Have posted previously about the quality of Ironman suspension. I have it on my 75 series Cruiser and its better then anything else i have ever tried. Has been on for 6 months now, and done the Gibb Road, Cape Leveque road and many other tracks around the Kimberley and its still like the day it was put on. I will be going Ironman again for sure. Paid $1100 for the full kit with a 2 inch lift, whereas OME and Tough Dog wanted around $2000-$2800.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with them, just very satisfied.

i have had ironman shocks fitted to my 96 grand cherokee for about 12 months, foam cells front, nitro gas rear.very happy with their performance in both standard form and with a 2in lift.
the foam cells seem to run cooler than the nitros(foam cells won't fit on the rear of the grand).
i also received prompt and very helpfull replies to several questions that i e-mailed them.
don't let the low price put you off!

Sounds like both may be good. I have OME, what i will say is that ARB are expensive but the products are good! After sales service has to be seen to be believed!
i.e, when i bought my new cruiser i put my 5 year old commercial bar on the new vehicle with my 8000lb high mount. Then went to put spotties on. Wouldn't fit. Went to the local dealer, he contacted head office, got a phone call, sorry have not had this combination of our products before. What we would like to offer you is a new Delux bar with new spots fitted at our cost!!!!!
I didn't say NO!
Now is the only time you own
Decide now what you will,
Place faith not in tomorrow
For the clock may then be still
