I am now down to 4 weeks to go till I hit the road for Mexico to attend the Gathering at the Pyrenees.
I have found a passenger (Madfisher) in Bathurst that I will pick up on the way and today had my BIL ask if he could join the trip, I'll pick him up in St George.

So it should be an interesting road trip to say the least as I'll have to cockroaches as passengers LOL

Maybe I'll have to connect the trailer and bring some wood if the numbers keep increasing haha

I missed out on an afternoon drive with some long term locals yesterday as I had to do camera duty for the youngests birthday.

Looking forward to seeing those attending the Pyrenees Gathering.

Cheers Kev

That would be right,
I'll move to town next week and you won't have time to show me the good fishing and 4 wheelin sights. I'll have to wait until you return unless you email directions.

If you bring wood I wouldn't have to, that'd be good, I think I'm bringing water once I get a new tank, then I'll throw on wood if I have room on "moses"
We may have extra kiddies in tow too but the more the merrier...

Look like if I can get to it, and I am planning to, I'll be on my own. The Minister for War and Finance can't make it.

Now for some details please. The Trip Organiser has put up such scant and shabby detail I need to ask some basic questions such as:

Any water nearby, either drinking or washing, or do I need to bring plenty?

Toilets?

Camper Trailer access?

And here's a ripper; the actual address would be handy. "Same place as last year" is somewhat vague, especially if one wasn't present last year.

Jim.

There is 2 flushing toilets, and I think there is now 2 non potable water tanks.

Access is fine for a camper or even a full sized Caravan if you want.

Location is the Glenpatrick Recreational Reserve, see the map in the members files for details.

The camping area is a bit bigger than a cricket ground.

HTH
