Never bought one for my car but got one for my outboard and it was rubbish.. someone with a scanner quickly ran an original manual through and put it to PDF... quality was rubbish and it was harder to use than a proper manual... go the hard copy!

I bought a hilux one off ozauction and the info is there but it's a cheap copy, crappy cheap paper. My advice is spend the money and get the real one if you want to actually put a brick on it while you're underneath the truck and actually use it.

I got one for $7 + postage last year. It doesn't cover the 4.5 petol or 2.8 diesel. There are different ones out there, not sure if the info is the same or not. Very thorough but not the most user-friendly.

bought the cd for the 3 lt patrol full of detail , had problems navigating it at the start but you get used to it with use , personally would find a hard copy better as you can have it at the car were ever you are i dont have a laptop

Michael, howdy doodie. Doesn't have the 4.2 diesel in it if that is what you are after.
Mine had the 2.8 diesel.
