Yes it;s on again, Hamish & Andy are trying to locate and recover the caravan of courage!
Grumoy Dave (their boss) at first said "no" - they can't go (To
Darwin this time) BUT to their credit Hamish & Andy HAVE emabarrassed Grumpy Dave, on air - into agreeing that - IF they can find the Caravan of Courage, they MIGHT be able to do the trip!
Things are looking good - (Why they ever gave it away in
Brisbane after the LASt trip is anyones guess)! but it seems the mighty Caravan of Courgae HAS been located and negotiations are underway to attain it for the repeat journey.
92.9 @ 4PM every afternoon driving you home with Hamish and Andy for fllowups, I know I am following the crusade with baited breath!
My question is:-
Are the roads and byways of Oz SAFE for the travelling public if Hamish & Andy are towing the Cravan of Courafe to
Darwin.
I was actually thinking of volunteering to be their "Escort vehicle for the trip" - you knowe - travell ahead 0f them with the big
sign and flashing
orange lights....reading
"Caution - Hamish & Andy Towing the Caravan of Courage Following....run for your lives - wimmin & kids first!"
I shudder to think - of the risks involved for our average
grey nomads sharing the roads with these two clowns!
Maybe there should be a law against it?

I think the whole thing with there boss is staged and they were able to do it from the start, although funny never the less. I some times listen to them on my way home from work, it gives you a laugh after a days work.
They must be doing something right cos they just took #1 spot in the radio ratings.
Clowns they might be but they must be professional to do something like this
Cheers Luke

Years ago two radio personallities were having an on air blue. The small far western town took it to heart, and one of them was bashed up in the pub. It was no good him protesting that it was just on on air "thing", and that the two of them were really the best of friends.
Not sure of your mob, never listened to them but I'll bet London to a brick that it's a similar situation. Anything that's good for the ratings ...?

It's officially named "Who Dares, Dar - wins" and they are currently trying to track down Mike Whitney (of who dares wins TV show infamy) to officially launch the expedition.
Rumor has it he is filming in remote NSW somewhere outside phone range!
But the hunt is on for Mike W, - the departure date is in a couple weeks from now - alll going
well.
Yes - it helps pass the afternoon commute! (but only just).
Emm & Whippers big lesbian wedding in the Am on the way to work is just woefull!
I remember when they used to play music on the radio - guess I'm showing my age huh?
Cheers
