Gold Prospecting Australia

I recently asked for feedback about an outfit called Gold Prospecting Australia who conduct prospecting tours and training.
Willie gave them a good wrap.
My bride and I just did a weekend with them at Wedderburn (Vic).
Of the 7 in the group, 4 of us had never seen a detector before, the others had brought one second hand but wanted to know how to use it.
We had a couple of hours talking through the basics of detecting, then out in the bush using their gear, with Mark and his partner Rhonda working with us as much as we needed.
All up the group came up with 5 bits totalling about 2.5 grams (one nugget was 1.2 grams), so the "catch" was not great, but we were all rapt.
I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Mark and Rhonda. They are very nice people to boot. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to look into gold propecting.
(Not tied to GPA in any way, just a very satisfied customer)

By the way, on the way home yesterday, called into CoilTech and brought a Minelab 4500 and full kit, so need to find some serious nuggets now.
Cheers
Jeff

Say goodbye to life as you know it, that pastime is as contagious as typhoid and 100 times more expensive to your health (mental that is).
Good luck mate.

With what you've spent on that vehicle that is neither your ar$e nor your elbow, you must understand about expensive (to your pocket and your health).

We are supposed to be a few months into our several-years-on-the-road odessey already but my bride has health issues that have kept us anchored for a bit longer. Should be able to head off in the new year and we see the detector as a valuable part of our kit. If it makes fuel money along the way, that's a bit less fruit we'll need to pick or caravan park dunnies to clean.
Hope to be able to be able to get back to Wedderburn for a couple of weeks at the end of this month.
Cheers
