Good R/R service garage around Donvale?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a good garage to take over the regular servicing on my '97 Range Rover, in or around the Donvale area in Melbourne. I’m also not look to pay exorbitant dealer prices.

The current garage I use are a Range Rover/Disco/Landi specialist and they used to do a good job but, after the last two services I’m starting to lose faith in the them.

For example: wheels going in balanced but, coming back unbalanced after fitting new pads, oil over filled and coolant under filled. These are just a few of the thing, I know they are small complaints but, after spending $500 on a service, I would expect to see a proper job done. Fine they will fix all these things but, having to take the wagon in again, is just a pain in the nether regions.

I’m not sure why they standards have slipped, as they’ve done an excellent job over the past few years, I guess these things just happen.

I’m not going to mention who they are, I’m just going to vote with my wallet on this and take my trade someplace else.

If you going to offer advice like should have bought a Toyota or Nissan, rather than a pomie tank don’t bother, I’m already shopping for a tray back to play with in the soft stuff and leave the R/R for the wife to ferry the kids about in.
