Dan,
I haven't been there yet but it is on the to do list
We may have to organise a local get together and go up there.
Cheers Kev

Sounds good. My Missus was talking to someone at work last night (refinery) & suggested this place as a great
camping spot. Apparently plenty to do...
To be honest i never heard of it in the 10 years i been here & my missus was born & bred here. I need to get out more i think haha

I've been there twice.
Great place, plan on 3 or 4 days at least. Lot's of excursions, things to do, campfire meals, etc. Right next door to National
park and the folks there, seem to know the country pretty
well.
Last time I went it was pretty busy, so better to book ahead.

haven't stayed there but did stay at cania gorge to go to kroombit tops. think i posted pics on that lcool thread from memory, we stayed at the big4 caravan
park at cania gorge, great place for families. if you want to get away from the caravans they have a big grassey spot right down the back where you could setup and just about be on your own.
kroombit tops is a full day trip from cania gorge, check out this trip report i did for some pics and info.
