Sir Kev & Darkie
about 6 weeks ago I posted about the trouble I had with the Willow Yellow Diesel Jerry Cans.
See thread here.
I can now say that Willow have just called to say that there was a fault with the jerry cans and that they are replacing the 2 faulty jerries with the new model FOC. The new model is the one with 2 carry handles (one on top and one on the side).
All I can say is that I am delighted that they would replace them as I had lost the reciept and was not expecting them to come to the party.
Cheers Kev

I am now hoping that they turn up before the end of the month so I can use them for the trip to
the Pyrenees. If they are RS as
well I might as
well return them in person to Willow HQ in
Melbourne ;)

Ah...... the good feeling we get when consumers are happily offered the justice we deserve :-o)..... BTW........ our SA manager of the Fair Trading department says you don't even need a receipt in cases like this - its their can, and its faulty - that's all the evidence required.

Was still good to see that they didn't hesitate to replace them though. After the mucking around Toll gave them for the return of the jerries, which they only recieved today. They were quick to phone to say they were replacing them.
It is a shame that more companies (particularly a vehicle manufacturer) don't follow suit.
Cheers Kev

I have 10 of them and one or two have leaked because the black o-ring had fallen off, the spouts don't stand up to continous bending as they crack etc and the o-rings fall off when your not looking, never the less they have been invaluable for my trips off shore in my boat

The 2 I had replaced leaked from new as the cap would not
seat properly.
