Will be visiting the high country for the first time over the xmas break and am seeking some suggestions for scenic
routes that are only moderate in their degree of difficulty. Have a current hilux 4x4 but it is loaded to gvm with a slide on camper, so this is the critical factor when considering tracks/roads as the centre of gravity is quite high.
Have had a look through the trek section but lots of the tracks are probably not suited for my vehicle setup. Wife loves a good view so any moderate ridge top roads would be great.
Thanks for any suggestions

Gday wicket
If you have a GPS look at my plot posts,
http://www.exploroz.com/Plots/Default.aspx
Days 1-7, they give you some tracks, that while a challenge, would suit a vehicle of your description.
They start off mild and end up wild. But still do able by MOST cars with 4WD & reasonable clerance.
Cheers Colin.
