Hello Folks, Was looking for some cattle this morning, and happen to catch this photo. Didn't think much of it until I noticed all feet off the ground.
Image Could Not Be Found
Probably spoilt her day too.
Bob

Bob, you must have given the camel a bit of a heart starter :))

Footy,
Yeah, the only things missing when I rocked up were her handbag & parasol, just out for a leisurely stroll after a latte down at the dam.
Good thing I didn't have a passenger, Footy, steering with one elbow, they would have needed a heart starter for sure. Did get one good photo of the pass. side door lock though!!!
Regards,
Bob.

Hi Bob ,
Maybe Toyota can use the photo in one of their ads .
It's a great photo and I would like to send a copy to the "Camel Man" Noel Fullerton - if you don't mind .
Thanks ,
Willie .

Reputed to be the earliest movie made, this animation is the result of a bet for $25,000 made in 1877 that, when galloping, a horse's feet are sometimes all off the ground. The popular theory back then was that there was always at least one foot on the ground.
San Francisco photographer Edward Muybridge was able to disprove this by setting up a battery of time-controlled cameras. Later the series of photos were animated together.

The businessman who put up the bet was Leland Stanford - a former governor of Californian and founder of Stanford University and also Muybridge's major patron.
Especially after he won the bet for him...
