Hi guys, as the thread says can anybody give me an idea as to who makes this particular tank, its 70 litres for a gq, and was used as a main tank when the vehicle was converted to gas....
Thanks for your replies

I think it looks like a Long Ranger Fuel Tank

The website shows a main tank replacement of 70L

I'd second that. Long Range Automotive at Lilydale.

Have to agree with others, I have one the same in my GQ. If you are fitting it,pay particular attention to the way you attach the rear of the tank. I had both rear bolts (only 8mm) break on the Kalumburu Rd. and the tank was close to dragging on the road.

Hey Mick

I have one exact same in the shed, my brother was looking at putting it on his GQ but we couldnt find a maker. It should have some ID numbers stamped on it. If you find out post it on here please.

Cheers

Lots of people make one that looks like that. It's a standard belly tank install done with most lpg conversions. Mine was brandless.

Okay, thanks people, looking at buying it to run as a aux tank on a diesel gq, figure if i get it i'll remove the sender and give the inside a good clean, then wire bush and give the outside a good coat of killrust epoxy enamel.
Probably then hook a transfer pump between it and the main.
And thanks for the tip SteveL i'll run 12mm high tensiles with nylocks if there is room.
Just a little concerned as ive heard of one brand in particular having a few issues with bad welds and leaking...

Not a longranger tank

most likely a brown davis or Longrange automotive
But as said before lots of people make this for cheap and sell to gas market
