Bought one of these(garmin 760) from JB HIFI and have downloaded the Shonky onto an SD card.
But when i put it into the unit it doesnt display on the Map info page.
I downloaded the 3.51zip and it was around 347MB.
Help!!!!!
What do i need to do,, i thought it would be straight forward.

Don't know for sure but I think you would need to unzip the file.

Use winzip or similar.

Thanx for the replies.

I downloaded the `legal` way of getting mapsource but when i go to run it the message "Install product 800" comes up and does not run.
Whats this and where do i get this??

Its never easy is it?

Did you install both training centre and then mapsource?
Did you download shonkymaps 3.51.zip, unzip it, and then install it (after installing mapsource)?

I updated my mapsource recently to version 6.14 and had problems with the maps rendering very slowly, so I went back to 6.13, and problem solvered. Maybe that's the answer for you too?

Yes mate done all of them ,
Its when i try to open mapsource a box comes up and says "there is a problem with product 800 , please re - install product 800 and start mapsource again"

where would i find 6.13 version , ?

Try this link scroll about 1/3 of the way down the page there is a download link.
