Calling all SA Forumites,
We all may or may not know that we are about to be invaded by a Cane Toad. LOL... However, we need to show her that we are a hospitable bunch down here in Croweater country...
So, here begs the question... We are looking for suggestions as to where we can have a get together on the Saturday (15th) Nov.
Looking at possibly going to
Morgan (for some fun in the quarry), or maybe a more relaxed day at a
park somewhere (
Carisbrooke or St. Kilda, or
Whispering Wall, etc, etc, etc)...
Tossing ideas into the air at the moment, will see what happens before we post a new Gathering.
Of course, Non-SA Forumites are welcome also
Over to you guys
Cheers, Brad (Littleborgy) & Dave (Borgy)

Jo was destined to visit me up here this weekend to deliver a brand new second hand front passenger bucket
seat for Darkie. But she has decided to tell work that she wants some extra shifts to cover the days off she is going to take to get to
Adelaide. So she is going to organise to get the
seat freighted for me :)
It is great to see that you guys are going to the effort to show Jo around the area. She is one of a kind and helps people out when needed.
Good luck and keep her under control hahaha
Cheers Kev

Cex (otherwise currently known as "Project GQ",) has certainly not presented any problems so far, (except for alternator dying the other week, new one in, not bad.. 19 years out of the original one!!)
But am not keen on taking Cex for an extended drive until I have had the
water pump and cooling system all checked over.

Duncs, you need to re-read the post. Borgy said he wants to entertain her. LOL I'm safe in putting up this reply as I saw Willie yesterday on his Eastbound travels.

Guys,
Morgan would be good.
If you are going to go to the
Whispering wall ( & yes this is a good look), consider Mt Crawford - Chalks
camping ground and Rocky Paddock - very pretty and worth a look.
Not sure how long she will be here, but I have collected heaps of stuff from Discover and Post cards re
places to visit in
Adelaide area/hills, happy to get a copy to you if you want it.
Depending on time,
Goolwa- beach etc, all around the lakes area/Meningie/Ralkin, also nice drive along the river from
Murray Bridge to Morgan/
Renmark and so on.
Just let me know and I'll work on it.

Just don't make her cry or you'll never hear the end of it.
Great to see you guys going to the trouble. She's a nice gel (racks, busts and all.) She's also a sensitive soul, once you get past the steel capped boots, so be nicer to her than I was in this reply :))

In Lobethal there is a place called Bushland
Park.
Numerous walking
trails. Open daily 9am-5pm. Closed during Total Fire Ban days.
* BBQ/
Picnic area
* Picnic facilities
Lobethal Bushland
ParkGumeracha Rd, Lobethal
From there you could go to the Lobethal Bierhaus, the National Motor Museum (Jo mentioned the other day she wants to go there), then cruise back through Mt Crawford.
Or maybe Para Wirra
Recreation Park, or Belair, or Cleland???
Or Saunders
Creek. just some thoughts.

Ohhhhh thanks guys!! you are all being very sweet!. I'd love to have some sort of gathering to meet you all, That would be really nice. And I promise I will be on my best behaviour, Since I am representing Queensland and All now (too many
grey hairs now at such a spritely age, I don't want to be completely
grey before it is totally necessary!)
And if I misbehave Borgy will use his steel caps on me!

Sweet? You have to get home in 1 piece before you can accuse them of that.
