After a fair bit of reading I went with the AT's 225/16 on splits. Thanks for everyones input.
Even had a bit of rain the day after, bit unusual in central oz but gave a pretty good impression of handling.
Very confidant in mud (not hillclimbing!), noticable improvement in soft sand, V.quiet, no chunks missing (
Mereenie Loop and Tanami). = V.happy
BTW found a bent nail that had tried to go thru the rear drivers. no
puncture.
Bargain at $205, they had made a mistake in the quote but stuck to the figure. Should of been $245. Nice to see in this day and age. I'll go back again.
