I recently posted a wanted add for a cobb cooker. I now have one thanks to someone from the South West Town of Nannup. I live in Perth and we eventually "did the trade" in a carpark around near Carousel Shopping Centre in Perth one rainy night. Great outcome and I just love my cobb cooker already and so do my friends! Thanks to the Trader.

Well done T & P. They're a great addition to the camping equipment. Always _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx a crowd when you cook a roast at a camping area. I use mine to bake bread a couple of times a week on my more lengthy and remote trips. Make sure if you come up with any great recipes, tricks or tips to post them for all we other users. Here's a site (infront) for some worthwhile accessories as well.

Cheers. Mick

Thanks for the link Mick. Yes I will post stuff - when I work out where to post. My first attempt in the cobb was a bread & butter pudding (not the Cobbs recipe but my own) for a group of 8 campers and it was very welcome towards the end of the night after a few drinks around the camp fire! My second attempt was a roast lamb - next time will cut up veges a little smaller - think I tried to jam too many in!

Funny you should mention that... we actually remarked it looked we were doing 'something illegal' and joked about it at the time - rather nervously I might add! lol!
