Hi all,
Just wondering what people's thoughts are on camping in Gordon Country (Qld) with a non 4WD beyond the caravanning area? (I've got a small hatch that can take measured amounts of abuse - Peugeot 206) If so, anyone got any advice on where some nice secluded areas are?

cheers, Kurt

Hi Kurt,Camping in gordon country would be fine all along the area right up into national park, there is lots of areas right through that are secluded that are fine for 2 wd access, good place also to check out is Goomburra valley camp ground hot shower, flushing toilets friendly staff, same price as gordons,Use to camp at gordon country but now camp at campground

Cheers mark and Shelley

If you want a secluded spot just before you head to the national park there is a property that is on the left i think that is run by the local farmer (NO Showers No Toilets) but you;ll find places there that no body else goes to (well every time we go there, there's not many people) there's even a friendly donkey that comes in for a feed.
