Hi Darren,
Im not sure who is the cheapest but these are the
places i take my vehicals to.
For general repairs -
Torque Masters at 17 Knight street, Postsmith. 07 40352556.
Kriedeman Automotive at 3/176 English st, Manunda. 07 40325700.
For tune ups ect
Cairns Dyno Tuning are quite good.
28 Donaldson st, Manunda. 07 40516630.
There are a few others but i usually stick with the ones i know.
Kev.

Thanks Kev, nothing major so I wouldn't expect massive price differentials. it's only for 10,000km service for
mine and 20,000 for my mates, so therefore would you suggest
Cairns Dyno Tuning?
I was keen on finding someone via word of mouth for obvious reasons & to ensure they have some idea about TD's, correct oil to use etc..

I have only taken my petrol work vehicals to
Cairns dyno and found them good with carbi overhauls ect but for the diesel you could try Kriedman Auto as one of the mechanics apparently used to work for Toyota and they where also recomended to me by diesel turbo
shop around the corner.
If you want to stick to a 4wd service centre try-
Cairns Service Centre at 111 Hartly st, Portsmith, 07 40354002.
or
Cape York Automotive at 2 Federation st, Postsmith, 07 40513360.
To be honest i haven't been to the above workshops.

Try Chris Laas Service Centre in Scott St
Cairns. A small 2 man workshop that know 4wds inside out. I find it good to know that the bloke I talk to is the one who actually does the work. Been taking my turbo diesel there for years.

There is a Nissan Dealer in
Cairns with full service facilities including warranty.
Came in handy when my patrol developed a faulty oil pressure light between Cape Trib and
Cooktown.
Contact details should be in the handbook.
Happy Travelling
