Hi all,
I am after some advice and was wondering whether 16 x 8 Toyota prado GXL steel rims would fit on a 2004 O/B Jayco Eagle. I was concerned about the offset etc. Just concerned before I leap and buy.

Not enough information.
It would depend what is currently fitted, maybe a quick phone call to Jayco would give you a definite answer?

Are you sure they are 8" rims Cruisers are 8"
The current Prado has 7.5"' and older ones were narrower I thought.

I have a 2005 outback expanda and it is basically the same chassis and set up as the eagle. Standard rims are 15" with 235/75 tyres and I stuck these on a trailer I have and put 16" 265/70 on which are what is on the "Time Bomb". They fit fine and I have been all over the place with them.
As mentioned, take a rim there and try it.

My mistake they are 16 x 7. To quick on the keyboard. Does anybody know the offest of these. I am currently running 16 x 7
Kimberley rims on my prado and 235/75/15 on the jayco.
Cheers

Pheonix,
The LCOOL website says 118mm backspacing. I assume this is the offset.
From LCOOL:
GXL,TX,VX: 265/70R16 Dunlop Grandtreks TG35M2, fitted to 16x7 rims with 118 mm backspacing. These have a higher 112S load rating (1120kgs per tyre). Diameter 778mm

Gday Graeme,
This diagram is probably the easiest way to describe the difference between offset and backspacing. The 118mm backspacijng on the 90series Prados is the same whether the
wheels are the GXL 7 inch ones or the RV 6 inch ones.

Thanks for that Phil. I just read that 16x7 Prado offset is +15, which makes sense now.
