Hi All, I am going to drive from Manjimup in the lower south west of WA to Darwin. I have a GQ petrol and I figure the fuel cost will be around $900 as it is 4000k or more. So I am going to have to keep costs down. One way I thought of was to set up a bed in the back, so I can just pull over and get a kip rather than going to a caravan park or motel. It will also be useful later around the territory for overnighters. Can anyone share some experiences on building a temporary bed, do you need to put brackets on the walls of the car or can you build a free standing frame that won't fall over in the middle of the night. Of course I would love to put in some flash draw system but my budget is more like plywood off cuts!! Any sugestions, comments or ideas would be appreciated.

Seeyou on the road!!
