There has been a significant improvement to the Bureau of Meteorology website.

Previously (in Vic anyway) it had a 7 day forecast for Medlbourne and only 4 days for rural areas. It now has 7 day forecasts statewide.

www.bom.gov.au

All this has done is confirm we are staying home for the Cup Day Weekend :-(

Or should I say working over the weekend LOL.

Jim.

Thank you very much for that Jim !

Given that I'm in the bush for 6 nights from this Thursday I hope the BOM are up to their usual standard and have it all wrong.

Its gone from warm and sunny for the next week to rain forecast every day :-(((

Gawd I hope its wrong.

Have a good one.

Doesn't it get up your nose?

Hardly bloody rained for the last three months and it has to come over the long weekend.

Hoping to be gone by about midday Saturday if all goes well.

Last fine tuning on camper trailer kitchen/drawer system should be done by then. I've had it to a few camper builders who have made some excellent suggestions. It has to be perfect before I put it on the market.

Then I plan to get back out to them this weekend for final feedback.

This also seems to have reflected in the forecast data on ExplorOz Weather. There does appear to be a slight issue with the one of the title columns which I will fix shortly but this is a great improvement.

That is brilliant.

No need to log on seperately to the BOM.

Thanks,

Jim.

Still very tempted to try and get away anyway. Need to get away but a wet tent with kids does sound sh1t.!!!

I have done some further looking at the BOM website and as it stands they predict a 50% chance of up to 5mm and 25% of 10mm on Sunday, and next to no chance for Sat.

Is this alot of rain?

I will give them a few more days to hopefully correct a wrong prediction. :)
