Hmmm, I'm impressed with the speed people on this forum respond to posts. There must be a lot of people out there at work and online while the boss is not looking, dreaming of getting the hell out of town for the weekend and looking for inspiration on ExploreOz... just like me I guess... : )

I totally agree Hatcher.

It is also great that the speedy results also include fantastic info that also clears up the question raised.

Being retired helps. When I am home I log on twice a day. When you don't see my posts I am out bush.

We are all a bunch of know-alls just busting to share our limitless knowledge with everyone( said tongue-in-cheek). :-)))))

Hello Richard,

No doubt you found my pic in the website. If I had won cross lotto I probably would have upgraded to something newer, maybe like a 1979 Nissan :-)

Saying I am retired is a nice way to say one is unemployed. But I am 60 years young and on a disability pension on account of my severe arthritis and that photo is quite recent. Still have one knee to be replaced and then I should be able to walk again with ease. Now that I have had one knee done I am able to dispense with the wheelchair and just use my big walking stick when necessary.

Still these things haven't slowed me down all that much:-)
Cheers, Willem

Ahhhh...thanks for the compliment. The one thing that gives ones age away is the back of your hand. The rest of me may look younger but the back of my hands look 60 !

Yeah don't get arthritis. No one else in all of my family had it. They all dropped dead of heart disease. My ticker is A1. All that clean living :-)
It just came along at age 57 and has spread to most joints except my hips, touch wood. I live with it and stay positive and do positive things.

Take care.

Forget Hervey Bay and go with Inskip point, its worth the 90 min drive from Hervey and great people on the Manta Ray barge, all the Hervey and the otehr inskip barges are run by the comnay that owns the Fraser resorts so guess why the prices are steep.

Get one, get the other for nothingSo many places to go!
So much work to do :0(
