Canoe/Camping on the Barrington River

Gday all,

A mate and I are planning to load the canoe up for some camping and Bass fishing on the Barrington river over 2 - 3 days.

Our thoughts were to launch at Bindera and paddle down river and finish at around the Barrington area. This section of the river is graded a 2 for the rapids so should add a little excitement on the way down.

I am very unfamiliar with the area so my question is, has anyone done something similar to this and are there any good areas to bush camp along the river banks (besides Barrington river lodge.
Or would there be any other parts of the river (such as Gloucester) which could be more suitable??

Any general Information on the area or river would be greatly appreciated
