Hi , I have a 5yo sportiva odyssey dual dome tent which is pretty good however there's only a tiny awning over the entrance way.No shade area.
I was thinking of getting a tarp & poles but can't see how I could attach it to the tent..

Has anyone got any tips how I could best do this ?

Thxs

We had this problem with our old dome tent (and with our current tent too)....we just got a tarp that was big enough to cover the tent and used poles tied off with ropes.....did the trick thats for sure...gave exta protection in the rain too....and heat....

cost a bit to get everything but great in summer cos where we camping is usually 45 degrees plus....

the ridge pole across the centre should be a square tube to span the distance across. you can get these from most camping stores, cheers.

We bought one of those poles for our gigantic tarp .....brilliant idea.... saves having water build up so much in the rain....
