Only a guess, but how about one of those obscenely overpriced paint/upholstery protection packages ??

Cheers

Suspect so.
I bought a new corolla recently, nailed the price down at the end of a test drive, wifey and car sales man dropped me back at work, and they went back to the dealers.
Next thing wifey is on the phone, all excited with a deal on 'crystal glaze', which 'never needs polishing' and you 'just hose it to wash it', and some new fangled fabric protection. It all comes with a guarantee (provided you meet some ridiculous criteria) and cost about $1500 extra.
Grrrrrr!
Some months later I broke a window in the van, and took the replacement glass out to a window tint place and was talking to the owner, who was advertising similar 'glaze' and 'fabric protection' at less than half the cost.
Yes, they used to have the contract for some of the new car dealerships to do the 'crystal glaze' etc, but got cheesed off with the short lead times demanded by the car yards, and the slow payments.
Motto: don't agree to any other 'deals' on glaze, tinting, or fabric care with out pricing it from an after market firm.
cheers

yeah it is a protection package...a very ordinary one at that imo.

Had their window tint as well and had to be replaced twice under warranty, every time we wound the window down it scratched...

Probably was a fault with window adjustment rather than a tint fault.
Windows have a 4 screw adjustment that pulls them in and out and back and forwards in the tracks.

Sometimes a pull or a push on the top of the door frame fixes it.

Sounds like yours needed pushing out a bit to pull the inside of the glass away from the frame.
Cheers
