Rod why are you doing the mod....ie what are you trying to achieve?
I have done a 1600 16Valve Swift conversion in a Sierra and it was 100% better than a corolla conversion and even had it certified by QLD Transport. You would never know it wants origonal apart from the performance was outstanding.
If its for the auto...then thats different apart from finding a Jimny auto?? most suzuki autos are front wheel drives. PITA
Let me know
Matt.

I insist on seeing photos and dimensions of the wife before I decide which engine I may offer in exchange. Mileage would have to be divulged as
well.

Rod have done a number over the years
Rotary , Datsun 1200 & 1600, Toyota 1300 & 2ltr & the latest
a 3.8ltr V-6 to a Vitara send me some more info via Member msg & I will try to help, also think of what you are realy trying to achieve? power, speed & is it to meet National road rules or just the state your in etc as all this depends on what & how big of a conversion is or can be done or needed etc
our last one Suzuki Vitara LWB made 400mm longer & changed to a 2 door panel van fitted with 3.8ltr V-6 supercharged with auto & Nissan island transfer case & hi-lux diffs (shortened/modifided) with coil springs & all legal nationaly & are now thinking we will make it a 6x4 just to make it longer & even more different (its a dad & son project)
regards Vince
