Can anyone tell me at about what kms i can expect my
water pump to fail on the 4bji Rodeo 2.8 diesel.
Mine has done 266,000kms. It seems ok but would rather replace it before it fails on a trip.

G'day kwk56pt
Hard to say what sort of kms you can expect to get from your
water pump. But i would say for that amount of Ks you have done pretty
well..Like you say though , i would be replacing it if you plan on doing a trip some time soon, and i would prob get another genuine one, those Ks speak for themself...
Cheers....Borgy

They never fail! If you're worried change it now or take a spare with you. My 92 2-8 Rodeo was the best and toughest vehicle I have ever had. I did 250,000 hard kms in it and apart from a few oil leaks, it just kept going with minimal fuss and maintenance. If the Nissan I have now was 1/10th as good I would be happy!
