Hi Axel - This has happened to me before. The person had done something like adding or leaving of .au on their address. I also thought that it would be the right email addy from the system - but it wasn't. It was years ago, so i can't remember exactly. After emailing David or Michelle and they could not help; they suggested responder had their address wrong. I tried the other (be it with or without the .au) and it worked. I have also got email from the 'spammers' every time i have advertised here - the one where 'i have client who wants your product, you ship to me and i will pay you for product and cost of shipping by western union' type of spam.

Guess if they want the stuff bad enough they will mail again
You can always check where it came from by doing this

Highlight the mail in outlook express if thats what u use
Right click on it and go to properties.
In the box that comes up go to details and all will be revealed

If you want to get exact go to message source in that box and further details of the message are there Right down to the font used to type it

I know this sort of thing happens far too often, but, as people change their ISP because they of a better deal they sometimes forget to change their email address, or alternatively have set it up incorrectly. Just a thought as I've had similar instances with former work colleagues whom I try to keep track of.

The email system does require that the person be logged on and validated to send you email however as pointed out some people change their addresses and may have set the auto logon feature at when accessing the site. So they are registered using their old address information. We have very little control over this.

As for any spam emails please forward us copies of these from the trader system we will ban the email accounts. We do not monitor all outbound trader emails so have no idea of these. Please forward them to us and we will take any action.
