Doug,
You can change icons in IE for favourites. Open you your favourites and then right click - in the properties you can change the icon. I have checked the stored fav.ico on the server and it is most certainly the correct image.

When I do a properties on the shortcut in favorites it shows it's some stupid little head, and it won't change either, but if if I copy the shortcut and paste it to the desktop it shows as the EO icon with Australia on it as normal,

Andrew,
You are getting the right icon.
Doug,
Delete the short-cut and recreate and let us know what happens.

David
I deleted all favorites for
Places, &
Forum, still get the little head but when I copy the favorite and paste it to the desktop it shows the normal one as shown next to the EO webpage, I guess it's some setting here on my PC .

Hi Doug
I have just noticed that my icon has also changed from the EO icon to the default IE icon. I thought it may have been due to recent windows updates !

I got
mine sorted out,
delete Temp' files, browsing History, and Cookies, and when you go to connect to EO you'll have to log on again ,

Deleting Temp internet files and cookies is usually enough.
If you delete history you lose all those naughty sites you cant remember how you got to them as
well as this one.
I often clean temp internet files and cookies as they mount up fast. Cleaned a mates machine once that had over 20,000 in it.
As you say it also deletes the cookies that log you in on this type of site and you have to remember all those passwords you didnt write down.
Cheers Doug
