Gday Rick..... I will put a trek report in when i get a minute but for now the only way i can describe it is "it is pretty
well what you expect it to be like from all the research that ya do before you go but the roads leading to the otl are 3 times worse and there are 5 times more people than ya would expect".....
I couldnt even get outta the car to take a squirt without another car coming past at any time of the day.......
The Cape trip was great but a little populated......_____________________________________________

Thanks for that. We have the secrets book already. Will try the other book as
well as we are looking for tracks we can incorporate into day trips.

Hi whale,
Best thing to do is to buy the RAA Touring Maps. They show all the gazetted roads and tracks throughout SA. They cost about a $1.50 each and you can pick out the maps for the areas you you wish to visit.
Too easy.
Cheers, Willem
