Hi,
I have a registered copy OziExplorer CE Version 2 installed on my IPAQ PDA. When it gets to the end of a map in moving map mode and tries to load the next one a bar appears at the top with :
"Creating Map Index"
Then it pops up an error box:
"No Map Search Files"
I have checked the path to the maps in configuration, have deleted and reinstalled the software but still get the same error.
I can load maps manually.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Pete

Try the latest version - 2.19 I think.

Thanks,
I had 2.19 on there. Ended up uninstalling and deleting all Ozi files for a clean install and it is fixed now.

Pete,
Make sure the path is correct for the map data and map image.

Please note you allready have to have loaded version 2.19
as 2.20d is only a patch zip file update.

Hello
Its actually not a "patch" in the true sence of the word. It is a standalone *.exe file that has no effect on the older OziExplorerCe.exe file. You simply unzip it and dump it in the Ozi folder on your PDA/win CE device. You then have to either change your shortcut to start the new exe file, rename it to match the older exe file name or start it manually. If you keep the older file you can always go back if you encounter issues. You have to downlowd the new screen designer as
well or download the "extra files" to get full use of new dev version. See the CE dev page.
Cheers
Greg
