Hi Mardak.
I'm not familiar with the model but as far as Jayco is concerned I found them to provide excellent warranty and after sales service.

Several months after I brought my Jayco I noticed a water leak. I contaced the dealer and made a temporary repair as it was not convenient for me to put it in for repair straight away.

When I finally did put it in for the leak to be repaired properly it was over 6 months old. After the dealer inspected the van he saw that the leak had left water stains (which I was willing to put up with) Anyway he organised with Jayco for them to provided me with a brand new replacement.

In addition to being given a new van I was also provided with a free Wineguard antenna as compensation for my inconvenience.

So you can see why I rate Jayco as having the best customer service I have ever experienced.

We own a Jayco 17.55.3 outback, 12 mths old. Love the van, do suggest, if you can afford it, look into the simplicity suspension. Jaycos are not the strongest built van, but with the simplicity, we have no problems, even left a glass on the sink once when travelling and it was still there when we arrived home. The suspension may just keep the van together a lot longer. Jayco are very good to deal with re warranties if you have a problem.

We have a 16 52.8 i think outback the one with double bunks we are selling it but only because our daughter is leaving home 19 years old this is the second outback we have had any minor issues we had were fixed up never had any major ones. We have loved ours barb

I had a 16.52.1 and loved it.
Took it around AUS and just traded it for a bigger van.
Did not miss a beat !!!

only bought ours (Discovery model) a couple of months back and been away in central NSW, mainly off-road/dirt road.

In regards to it's off-road suitablility, I suppose it depends on where you want to take it. We found the two main issues were no cut-away at the back for departure angle and the axle, as opposed to independent suspension also limits clearance a bit. Our previous two vans were Coromals, one off road and one not. Due to their indepedent susp there was excellent clearance, even with the on-road van, although the departure angle was much worse than Jayco. But for good dirt roads they are excellent. We're not gonna get to the Gibb River Rd for a while whilst we still have the kids with us, so even if I wanted to tug 3 tonnes of Kedron/Bushtracker with a vehicle that is up to the job, we don't have the time, so this suits us down to the ground. Excellent value with good dealer network.

Our 2006 17.55 is for sale. Not big enough with the three kids on our extended travel plans. Love the front kitchen, love the height and it looks pretty good too. Just spent a humid 36 degreese weekend at the coast. It amazes me how the air con worked so well. Took it to Darham Downs Stn via Eromanga no worries. I the female can back it too !!!
