Evening All,

A Question in where did you fit your pyrometer and how? pre or post turbo? post is easy- the 3' exhaust has the bung to fit it straight up but pre looks interesting. pre is the prefered but not much room to fit,i have yet to remove the guards to inspect closer but i still think it is going to be an exercise. also what temps are you getting? light runnng, freeway and loaded? cheers in advance Paul

Mine is fitted in the 3" exhaust just below the fitted bung as it had a different sized thread on it so we just drilled a new hole and welded whole fitting on.
Havent done any towing yet but giving it the big right foot I get a max temp of ariound 400C getting up to 110kph.
Just cruising it is 250 -325.
Pre turbo is best but do you want to pull the turbo off and drill the manifold and be absolutely sure you got all the swarf out.
Expensive if you dont.
Just add 200C onto readings would be about right I think for pre turbo temp.
If you want a lazy way to fit it just pull r/front wheel off remove flexible inner guard protector and drill a hole in the side of exhaust pipe.
Worked for me before I fitted bigger exhaust pipe.
Was held in with a hose clamp that came with the Autometer Pyro.
