Hi guys, I'm after some information regarding where/how to install recovery points on the front of a 2008 rodeo. Went to the local 4wd
shop and the guy seemed to think the factory fitted loop at the front left was ok for the job. Now to my untrained eye this looks like a tie down point. A quick search of previous
forum threads suggest that on some (earlier) models of Rodeo - these were a recovery point and not just a tie down. Anyone out there able to enlighten me? ta doc.

Sorry Doc but I am pretty sure that is your recovery point to.
The hand book will verify this.
You may find that they have provision for a second one to be fitted.
Regards bushy.

Thanks Bushy, I did a quick read of the book but it didn't clarify the situation. It did state that we can carefully tow from this point but not to employ "jerky" movements. doc.
