Hi all -
Have just uipgraded the Forester (now sagging a bit in the back end after our last trip!) to a shiny new Navara D22 STR.
As we're looking at doing
Oodnadatta next year, we'll be needing to get our hands on a second spare wheel. Any ideas where I might find (a cheap) one?

The 2nd place to try would be the dealership.
It won't be cheap but you should be able to get a matching rim/tyre from a wheel upgrade they've done.
Worth asking the question.

The spare on the Navara should be steel
Just get a steel Sunrasia Rim, from any tyre
shop. It's your best way out of it.
Cheers

I agree with Bucky. I picked up a white spoke with tyre (new) from Bob jane for $285 which was $19 more than the wheel alone from Nissian,

I had the same problem when I had my Navara. I searched everywhere, wreckers, tyre
places etc no luck, checked the price with a Nissan dealer and quoted $257.00 for one steel rim. Eventually I came across a set of four second hand but had to buy the lot, now I have sold the Navara and have four rims that I can`t use, pity you wern`t in WA....Regards Foxhound(WA)

Australia post will send
wheels. I sent 4 to QLD. I just went to Bob Janes and got 4 boxes from new
wheels they obviously order for customers stuck the
wheels in them and sent them off. Was roughly $80 for the 4 of them. WHG

Sheepie,
I have 4 rims off of a D22 DX Navara. They are white steel 15" rims from factory. I used them as spare and trailer rims to match up when traveling. No rubber. They are free to good home.
I have them advertised on www.newnavara.net if you are interested.
Regards,
Camwill69
