I suspect that this has been answered in different ways already. I have done a search and find snippets but I am having trouble getting the overall picture
I note that the Mio Moove 370, which runs Windows CE can now be purchased pretty cheaply. I understand that this unit can be "unlocked" to run other mapping software like Oziexplorer.
Where can I find a straightforward guide to yhe process to do this and then install Oziexplorer (or other mapping software?)
Thanks

Hello
firstly you need miopocket
Get it here
GPSPassions Miopocket thread
There is a readme file included (Miopocket readme.txt) in the zip file. Read it and follow instructions. Suggest you load the program onto an sd card (and not internal memory) - this way you can not go wrong - if things go haywire just remove sd card and unit is back to normal.
There are various threads on this on the gpsautralia site.

The most important thing you need to note is this comment
"I have got MioPocket version 2.0 release 30 working with my Moov 360. The folder name you need to create is Cobia_420_64_AU. "
i.e. - this folder name is important so keep it in mind when the time comes that you need it during setup (I am assuming it is same for your model Moov). I dont have a Moov but have a Mio 720 running perfectly with OziCE, and bonus is you can also use the Mio Nav software.
To install OziExplorerCe you need to download one of the wince_core files - one is suitable if you can get activesync happening - the other is when no PC communication can be established and you need to manually copy files - see how you go - I managed to get activesync going on the Mio so I used the *.exe version.
Hope this gets you on your way .
Cheers
Greg
