g'day all,

looking to upgrade my current genny which takes 2 people to lift, and sounds like a bikie gang approaching as my ac kicks in..lol

Through lots of research decided on the honda EU20i

best deal can find is online for $1999 but includes dust cover, security chain, free freight, 5yrs warranty, and an engel THERMO cooler.

Anyone found any better?

I have been using Nulon Diesel Injector Cleaner for the last 3,000km in my new V8 LC ute and have noticed quite a change in the fuel consumption figures. I was using 16.5lt/100km now it is down to 14lt/100km. I am more than happy with this.

I think you will find that Honda run a tight chain of dealers and so there won't be a huge difference in prices , your deal sounds spot on. If you can buy from the dealer that willl be good for on-going service, support and advise

The Generator Place is advertising a discount on the $1999 for the Perth 4WD show which a lso includes the extras you mention. They give a no. to call 1800503003 so it might pay to give them a ring.

Hi Ron,

I was just reading the paper at lunch time after I saw your post.
I noticed that Tradetool Direct have a 2Kva Honda Powered Dunlite on special for $599. (limit 1 per customer).
If you live near a tradetools direct outlet maybe worth a look.
or try:

No, it was at a shop (honda dealer). We ordered 3 but they would not budge on price.

Buy a Winnibago and get a Cummins 1700i Inverter gen free which is a rebadged Subaru.

Gee thats a big outlay just to get a little gen set that you can get for $1599 plus freight as a Subaru if you look hard enough.
