Hey, while looking for a supplier of Boat Zoap I ended up on the manufacturer's website. They have a product called Aqua Fresh.
Their description of the product says "For fresh tasting, odor free
drinking water from fiberglass, plastic or metal tanks. Simply deposit the contents of these packets into
water tanks. Absolutely safe and non-toxic.100% biodegradeable earth-friendly formula."
I've never used it (or boat zoap, but I've been told to use it by my boat builder) and I have no affiliation, but there are always posts on here about plastic
water tanks.

Save yourself some $$ I looked at it myself and found it so be almost 100% Sodium Bicarbonate. Available from the Supermart real cheap. From memory I think the rate is 2 oz/60 litre. found this to be too strong so have cut it back to 1 oz.
