Hi. Friend of
mine has recently done it with an 04 model. He had the injected system fitted and is very happy with the economy both around town and touring. Also tows an 18ft Jayco Destiny and used about 25lts/100k towing from Shellharbour to
Nelson Bay.Definately no difference in power to petrol.Cost about $4500 to have fitted though.Regards, Bob.

Sounds about right.
We have two LPG powered vehicles in our family.
Thr old man's 4.8L Patrol has the old style mixer system. I used it to tow our 16.5 feet Freedom. It used about 31L/100 km but I was right into it; 110 km/h up
hill and down dale. With injected gas and a lighter clog 25 would be easily achievable. The 4.7 Tojo and the 4.8 Datsun are very similar.
Our 4L V6 Courier has injected LPG and uses around 17L/100 km around town. Gets up to about 21/22 towing a 750kg Camper with the boot in.
Jim.

G'day mate, I have a 1999 GXV V8 Cruiser,it has the old gas system fitted. It ratains the main petrol
tank and has a 90 litre gas
tank were the sub
tank and spare wheel used to be. I travel 70% freeway and 30% city driving, running 32inch all terrains, I get 420kms from a
tank of gas when I take it easy, but if I have a go with the right foot I'm down to 390kms per
tank.

Hi
I have a Parnell " Prins" Sequentual Vapour Injection " kit installed on my 2004 V8 Landcruiser. I have now done 20000 kms and it goes great, 60% of that towing the van. No apparent loss of power over petrol.
I have a 92useable ltr
tank. I get 480 kms on highway and still
Figures are 20 litres per 100 Kms sitting on 105 to 110 KMPH. I am very satisfied with its performance .Towing my 2.5 tonne van on LPG gets 30 L Per 100 Km. Can not fault the sytem. If you have any further questions please ask. $4500 to have fitted.
Regards
Norm
