Anyone can put up an oztent . Even the blond bimbo on the dvd can do it . I just found that part funny as Ron Moon says anyone can put up an oztent and they show the blonde putting it up . Great tent and even blonde women can put them up LOL .

Hi Troopyman
The Oztents are as quick and easy to erect as shown in their DVD. Over the years, we have had many tents, and each time you think that you have your
camping requirements perfected. We now have the RV4 and I can say that this will be the last tent that I will buy and in fact is the best ever tent that we have ever owned. I can thoroughly recommended them.
Any person that is looking to buy a tent should not look past the great range and quality of these great tents.
Cheers

Yep ditto to that, used an oztent for many years and completely satisfied, even bought an RV4 when the old one was nearly worn out, but havent used it much as we bought a camper as
well LOL
Use the tent for grangkids now, but is still easy to erect for them.
Cheers Pesty

Yep, dead easy. Had a RV4 for some years and is now our tent of choice out of numerous others we have tried.
Wife puts it up while I busy myself with the tables, cooking gear, etc and a coldie. We got the RV4 as it is a bit deeper in dimension and accommodates the 2m stretchers we have with foam mattresses Alpaca dounas. (None of this sleeping on the ground crap anymore). Wife also puts them up too. You also don't need to necessarily peg the tent down (although I do usually) which is handy if
camping on rocky ground. Sit back and watch the others for an hour trying to drive pegs through rock...makes you want another beer!
It's also proven itself in a severe dust storm and wet and rainy conditions.
The only downside is the need for a roof rack to carry it and if you have a bad back you will need help to get it up there.

Pesty , her deal is not as bad as it seems...she usually finishes her construction efforts before I have the rest of the junk under control and I usually end up the
cook and spend the rest of the night dutifully filling up her empty wine glass..have whip marks on back to prove it!
Cheers

We recently purchased an RV2 and some accessories - especially the fly - (extra waterproofing over the top of the tent and acts like a shade in the tropics). Havn't even used it yet !
The company OZTENT is absolutely excellent to deal with. I had a couple of problems (my fault) and they fixed them promptly and at a reasonable cost.

Hi Troopyman
I was quite impressed with the DVD to, and the tents, will have to play the video again, must have missed the blonde, perhaps that is something to do with my age.
I have a RV-2, side panels and awning connector on order.
I intend to use it with my pop top Troopy Camper to give some extra space, more so for longer than overnight stays.
As
well if you find a good spot that you want to return to I can leave the tent up and when on return hope it is still there and the
camp spot is reserved. I have tried at times leaving a chair and some gear of little value, to show the site is in use and then returned to find they have been shifted and someone else taken over.
Good thing is the only thing gone is the
camp site.
Zipped up in a tent looks more permanent and any gear left is at least out of sight.
It would be great to hear from anyone that has an awning connector and used it for the same purpose.
Cheers
Russ
