If anyone is interested, I recently rode 92km from Quorn, part of the Mawson Trail, bit of a blog on my page with some pics. Nice ride, a couple of water crossings on the push bike, weather was great. This part can be driven on by conventional vehicle depending on road conditions.

I am sure you would manage.

What is GVBR?

jdwynn,

Get into it. Don't leave it too long!

I have just been plodding along doing a bit here and there.

Good work Russ. Beautiful part of the world the Flinders. I did the section from Hawker-Blinman and back again a few years ago camping out 3 nights with the tent, food and water on the panniers.

I highly recommend the section from Wilpena-Blinman. Parts of it you have to get off the bike and push as they go on walking tracks but the bush is beautiful.

Barnsey,

Will probably do the next stretch from south of Hawker in March when it begins to cool down, another 90 odd km.

Will get to Blinman eventually.

Thanks for the response.
