Hard to imagine a roo doing that much damage!
Must have been really motoring or caught it in the weakest point of the whole car.

" 40 years driving 'all over Australia, never saw one...."

are you sure??

I have only been in Aussie 8 years and have only driven over some of it - but have seen hundreds of roos

In fact I live in Wagga and when I have visitors from NZ who want to see a roo all I do is drive about 2 kms to the local golf course either in the early morning or at dusk and see about 20 roos.

40 years and never seen one - I just cannot comprehend

Hi KiwiAngler,
Sorry about that, I was being slighty sarky, have hit plenty of them.
That would be the golf course on the west of town.
Used to live just out of Narrandera.

Thanks WHG,
Never doubted you, just found it hard to imagine a roo causing that much damage and it's not even a big one!!
Doesn't inspire much confidence in the modern car, lol.

Cheers,
Dennis

There is also the picture of the roo but for some reason photobucket wont let me load it up, had heaps of trouble with photobucket last night even doing these two. If some one would like to pass on there email I will send it too them and see if they can upload the picture of the roo. Wont be able to do it till I get home as email is at home, my work one wont bring up the two pics posted (not allowed) so cant check out the number plate that has been mentioned. I believe the roo jumped straight towards the cop car and come down on it as the driver went through. Suppose to have happened early morning. It was sent from my cousin who works and lives in Port Headland (WA). WHG

It was a Mate of yours,

What was he doing?

He was sitting out in the middle of the road minding his own business,
Scratching his Balls, and then WHAAAAM.

Oh your saying the Cop was Scratching his Balls to, after he got out
of the car,

Ok Skip I believe you.

Interesting to note the damaged area. Obviously a BIG roo and on the hop.

Just wondering if thats the same sort of damage one should expect when driving a vehicle fitted with, a Harold Scruby approved roobar ... thats the type that is supposed to deflect the hit item ... person or roo ... over the bonnet etc.

On a 4x4, the upright windscreen would bring about an interesting change of events .... wouldn't it ????? ... bar or no bar.

A couple of my responses in this Thread were moderated due to the language involved.

That's fair enough. I thought it was funny but this Forum can be read by anyone so I'm OK with the moderation.

Just seems odd tho, that the offending language was left highlighted in a box all of its own. It's here I should put WTF, so I will.

Anyway, I just lashed out and bought Life Membership to EO because I enjoy it so much so I better not get scrubbed out on day one.

I'll just use more asterixes next time.

cheers to all, grovelling to the Mods.
