Hi All..
So I have some links for photos from yesterday. (and I have just discovered that your 'web browser'(the small search bar at the top of your screen) is different to your search engine, ie google).
So I will put the links on here but if it doesn't work you might have to do the copy and paste thing.

Anyway Yesterday was really cool!!
We got there an hour early which gave me plenty of time to walk around and get photos before everyone turned up. Ian Doyle who was 'Master of Ceremony' and Executive Producer of 'The Back of Beyond', mentioned Kristen Weidenbach and asked her to stick her hand up. Turned out she was standing right next to me! (Kristen wrote the book Mailman of the Birdsville Track), so we had a bit of a chat, that was nice to tell her how much I appreciated her writing and efforts into putting the book together. She has a new book out that I bought at the airport named 'Rock Star, the story of Reg Sprigg, Outback Legend', I told her I hadn't read it yet but am looking forward to it, she says, 'yeh it's good, but once you've written about Tom it is hard to match up to that again'.
It was the biggest pleasure to be able to sit with Tom, I only sat for a minute to speak with Tom and got some photos, he must find it hard when everyone wants a piece of him. I didn't want to impose or anything. (and Brad and Dave were chuffed to because they got a handshake and got to have a few words with Tom also.)
It really was an awesome day, quite emotional, a day I will never forget.
