Air Intake TD42

Does anyone know anything about the 3 solenoid vacuum switches with regard to the control of the exhaust bypass air intake. My TD42 has two vacuum controlled switches that allow exhaust air into the intake manifold along with a flutter valve that closes over the air intake.
Real question is can I just slap a turbo on all this and if I can where do I take the exhaust bypass intake from?

Partly answered myself, system is exhaust gas recirculation. Does anyone know anything about putting a turbo on this system (TD42)
