Giday all, Took one for a test drive yesterday and was very impressed.
If I do, and probably will, purchase the vehicle it will be my first diesel.
As with any s/h vehicle Ive purchased, irrespective of service history, I always replace oils, filters, belts and hoses.
Are there any other aspects of diesel servicing I should be aware of ?
Cheers.....Lionel.
PS : Still keeping the Patrol, just adding a baby brother to the family.

Lionel,
Was this one for sale on the SW H'way near Byford? If it was didn't look to bad for the price. Friend had one, he said it was pretty bomb proof, he didn't do much off roading though used if for mainly towing his trailer.
Good luck with your new purchase.

We had one of these for quite a few years, terrific vehicle, easy to drive, comfortable and towed no problem - handled sandy trips with no effort - left others floundering, quite economical.
My husband changed the oil every 5000 and oil and filter every 10000, he also changed the fuel filter when the manual recommended it(actually the mechanic did that - very awkward position). Found parts quite easy to get - tried other
places before Nissan though, especially for filters and hoses.
You will love it.
