Hi Peter,
I have Trackranger for about 2 years and I run some Hema maps.
After you install Hema maps you need to upgrade your Trackranger database. Under file menu go to load a map and then select the Hema map you have installed. I'm not familiar with the bu353.
Cheers

Hey Peter,
Same as Racey ...... have Hema maps loaded but don't use them too much. (use NATMAP most of the time) Never had any dramas when I do use them though.
Not familiar with bu353 mouse.
I was one of the first to use TrackRanger with Vista and found that their support was fantastic. Try contacting them and see what they've got to say.

G'day Peter,
I've been using TrackRanger for the past year and have found it fantastic. It was my first foray into moving map programs so I needed a bit of help getting it set up as
well. It works
well with the Hema maps. On the Hema disc, you have to locate the seperate folder of images (Can't remember the file designation at present as I'm away from my computer)for the trackranger program and load them across into the Trackranger Map folder. Then you "Update" the map index from the file menu.
Don't hesitate to send the guys an email because their service has been second to none and they'll ensure you get it working to your satisfaction.
Cheers and good luck. Don't get frustrated just email advantech.
Mick

I've had Trackranger for a while and I've had no problems what so ever... only problem I've had is relating to the laptop that runs it. Keeps crashing and being "too" sensitive to the coorugations etc. Though from a program UI and user interface perspective, I'm more than happy and I'll continue using it. Have had no qualms about the product post me buying it.. though must note that I've not been exposed to any other products like it before so I don't really have any comparisons. ;-)
