Hi All,
The Thermoguard Global HQ, Logistics and Manufacturing Facility (aka, our caravan) is heading for Tassie again. Before boarding the 'Spirit' at the end of the month, we plan to have a look around the Victorian High Country.
Weather permitting, we'd like to leave the caravan at a
park somewhere and do a few day or overnight trips in the Discovery on some of the bush tracks.
So, we're after some suggestions. I haven't yet checked out the trip notes on here but will do so soon. In the meantime, are there any "don't miss" places/tracks you can suggest? Not looking for real 'hard core' tracks but reasonably challenging tracks and scenic
places. Please keep in mind that rain is forecast for the rest of this week (- which probably means it'll be dry??).
Thanks in advance. Ian

Ian,
You could base your self at
Bright, a couple of caravan parks to chose from and like you said, do day or overnight trips from there.
You would be able to go to most of the
places that are listed on this site.
I will be down that way from the 23rd to the 29th November, and might see you there.
Wayne

Hi Wayne,
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, we were looking at
Bright on the map and it looked like quite a central 'base'.
We may still be there when you arrive but we'll be off to
Melbourne to catch the boat that week. We'll keep an eye out for your Troopie. There's a pic of our rig on the "About Us" page of our website - Jayco 18' poptop + silver '97 Discovery.
Thnaks again. Ian
