And they are being made for my truck!!
The inability to drop pressure/spread the load might be a problem for cross country and soft going though.
But for what they are designed to do, run on hardpack whether it be tar or dirt they would work ok.
Projected cost is less than a conventional tyre too.

Let's see

A. Do we want to get the !~@# away from a mine incident site and live to fight another day...or

B. Do we want a tyre that will shread when hit in a explosion or by shrapnel but allows us the ability to drop the pressure to drive on sand, etc which we don't do that much, if at all.

Didn't even think about the combat situation (which is what they were designed for obviously).
I was thinking more along the lines 'that should be stake resistant at least'.
My combat training was a l o o n g time ago.
