Hi all
I'm looking for a single 16" alloy wheel for a GU for the spare to keep the weight down on the rear door. Any suggestions on where I could acquire one in
Melbourne or
Adelaide? Is their justification not to be using alloys these days for touring save the general advice that steelies are easier to repair in the wilderness. If so, I might be looking for 4 alloys.
Cheers, Mike

Mike if you are looking at selling off the steelies, I may be interested. I want to change the 15" caravan rims over to match the GU and would love to get my hands on 4 more GU steelies. Keep my email addy if you want as I am in no hurry but would grab them if they come up. dieseldrifter at bigpond dot com
Cheers, Trevor.
PS I can get them transported from
Adelaide or Melb without too much fuss as I know a few truck drivers going up and down from there to here regularly.

Trev - these come up all the time in the Trading Post and also on ebay. But just type "GU
wheels or rims" in Google, making sure you choose just Australia and they will come up from Exploroz, Overlander, 4WDaction, ebay or where-ever. Saves a lot of rooting around. After reading a few more posts on Nissan 2002+ alloys falling off and broken studs, I'm not so keen anymore.
Cheers, Mike
