Hi I had a camper Trailer with a pole carrier which had two sections one long side for poles(1.5mts) and one short side for pegs(300mm) the divider was like a coupling which was blanked off in the middle ( made like this). I have been trying to find where I can buy this coupling thing but no one seems to know what I am talking about can someone help me. Les

You might find that the piece you are after is just that, a straight coupling with a blanking plug in one side.

You can get pipe caps for stormwater plumbing that are stepped, in that one end goes over the pipe while the other end fits inside a fitting, eg a standard pipe coupling/joiner. So if you glued the 2 together you will end up with a blanked off joiner.

I use a piece of high density foam rubber cut to slightly oversize to separate the two sides. The foam is about 150mm thick and when pushed up hard against the poles has the additional effect of stopping them from shaking around. When I know I am going to be travelling on corrugated roads I also push a piece of the foam in at the open end of the carrier to ensure no movement.
